• What: The authors provide sufficient conditions for the reference copula C0 such that the resulting ζ(X, Y ) is zero if and only if X and Y are independent, that is, the measure ζ(X, Y ) can identify independence. Although the authors do not have a theoretical justification, the authors provide a possible explanation for this phenomenon. The authors report the top 6 significant genes selected, i.e., the 6 genes with the largest estimates and hence the smallest p-values by each of the measures in Table S5.
