SUMMARY
To standardize approaches for biodiversity monitoring on the global scales, frameworks on biodiversity monitoring have been elaborated. The following structured monitoring framework addresses the key considerations that managers must make in developing effective biodiversity monitoring programs and provides a precise roadmap for developing new programs.
