HIGHLIGHTS

  • What: This study examines the percentage of women visits ANC in Jharkhand before and during the pandemic using secondary data from NFHS-4 and NFHS-5. This study focused on ever married women between the ages of 15 and 49 who had at least one live birth prior to the survey (National Family and Health Survey., 2017; National Family and Health Survey, 2019-21). The findings of this study show disparities in ANC utilization across the districts of Jharkhand, identifying regional inequalities in maternal healthcare services.
