Shapiro's syndrome (SS), traditionally defined as the triad of spontaneous periodic hypothermia, hyperhidrosis, and agenesis of the corpus callosum (ACC), is a rare disease. Spontaneous periodic hypothermia has been reported in recent years as a hallmark of both typical and variant SS. The pathological mechanism of SS is still unclear, and there are several hypotheses that are hypothalamic dysfunction, neurotransmitter disorder, endogenous high melatonin . . .
