A novel approach to measure brain-to-brain spatial and temporal alignment during positive empathy

    This hyperscanning study involved 42 healthy male volunteers, organized into 21 dyads that performed the TPP paradigm in the roles of receiver and observer, while the dictator was a confederate. The temporal alignment between receiver`s and observer`s ERPs was quantified by means of a wavelet coherence analysis. This means that the receiver-observer synchrony is higher in fair than in hyperunfair conditions, mainly around the LPP peak.
