- What: This study assessed QOLi in dogs receiving incremental intermittent hemodialysis (i-IHD) with high- and low-flux dialyzers. Considering the above points, this study aimed to assess the QOLi and effectiveness of high- and low-flux membranes in dogs with Stage IV CKD by applying the idea of i-IHD. Although dogs in this study had triglycerides and cholesterol levels within the normal physiologic range, reduced levels of triglycerides and cholesterol were observed consistently in the highflux group (post-dialysis) compared with the low-flux group.
