SUMMARY

    Research focussed on nuclei in filamentous fungi has been expanding over the past decades, and data is accumulating for intra-mycelial genetic diversity (Wyss et_al, 2016), pathogenicity (Ma et_al, 2010; Shahi et_al, 2016), nuclear dynamics (Roper et_al, 2013; Roper and Dressaire, 2019; Kokkoris et_al, 2020, 2021; Cornell et_al, 2022) and multilevel selection (James et_al, 2008; Samils et_al, 2014).
