A predictive model for prognosis and therapeutic response in hepatocellular carcinoma based on a panel of three med8-related immunomodulators

HIGHLIGHTS

SUMMARY

Cancer cells can suppress the function of immune effector cells changing the immune molecular expression and immune cell aggregation in the intratumoral microenvironment, therapy resulting in immune escape. While several immune-related gene models have been constructed for HCC, most of them cannot concurrently predict the effects on survival and therapeutic responses; moreover, their long-term prediction power for survival is unsatisfactory. Construction of the Predictive Model Based on MED8-Related Immunomodulators Validation of Predictive Values of the Model for HCC Recurrence Overall, these results confirmed that the predictive model based on MED8-related . . .
