A rapid review of menopausal education programmes

HIGHLIGHTS

  • What: To ensure the inclusion of studies that were focused on menopause education, studies were excluded if less than 50% of the intervention consisted of menopausal education or if they only included signposting. The rationale for including a broad date range of papers stems from their shared measurement of fundamental concepts such as physical and psychological symptoms, albeit with variations in specific symptoms; for instance, while some studies focus on hot flushes, others emphasise pain. Whilst the number of studies included in the review provides a platform on which to base conclusions, quality appraisal was not conducted . . .
