- What: The aim of administering BTX with LRS is to reduce muscle tension during the postoperative healing phase and therefore avoid scarring . This approach provides long-term results and also avoids invasive procedures, like myotomies, to manage relapse . The studies discussed in the current review have found that modified LRS leads to increased patient satisfaction.
