SUMMARY

    Comprehensive assessment of CRF requires measures specifically developed for, and validated in, cancer populations. Although many patient-reported outcome measures assess fatigue, some conceptualise CRF as multidimensional in line with the NCCN definition, whereas others conceptualise CRF as a unidimensional construct. Although previous reviews have identified and examined CRF measures, none evaluated whether the content of the items within each measure adequately captured CRF and only a limited number of psychometric properties were evaluated.
