- What: The aim of this research is to identify the types of and meaning of in songs lyrics. Through the study of linguistics, the authors may comprehend how language structure impacts how the authors grasp the meanings that language is intended to express. Although this research has deficiency, the results of this research may be difficult to generalize to the wider population. The modality analysis in Taylor Swift`s lyrics may reflect only the works of one singer and may not represent in general the way modality is used in other contexts.
