- What: The investigation of concrete`s behavior and performance under acid and salt attack tests is another goal of this project. The study looked at the practicality of using slag as a coarse aggregate in structural concrete in both normal environmental settings and situations where it would be exposed to fire or high temperatures.According to the results, slag has a higher fire resistance than traditional aggregates and can be used in concrete in normal environmental settings. The study shows that slag, which is usually regarded as a waste byproduct of different industrial processes like smelting furnaces . . .
