  • What: The aim of the study is to estimate the incidence of dysglycemia among nondiabetic patients presenting with sepsis at the emergency department. The inclusion criteria include non-diabetic patients (HbA1c between 4 and 6.5) and_(2) patients with two or more of the following objective parameters: oral temperature >38 °C or and amp;lt;36 °C, respiratory rate >20 breaths per minute, heart rate >90 beats per minute, WBC count >12000/µL or and amp;lt;4000/µL with suspected or proven infection.
