HIGHLIGHTS
- What: The authors aimed to explore the reliability and feasibility of this method applied at the grassroots level, improve the detection rate of neonatal CHD, especially complex and severe CHD, evaluate the prevalence of CHD, and investigate a new management mode of CHD screening and treatment. This study showed that the prevalence of CHD in Tang County was approximately 12.4‰, which was higher than the prevalence reported in the China Birth Defects Prevention report (4.095‰) in 2011.
