- What: The authors collected approximately 19,562 adult weevils, which were reared in the laboratory for 1 week and then used in the experiment; a total of 18,540 adults were used in the experiment, and the rest continued to be reared for the establishment of an experimental population of this weevil. The paper model flowers in the experiment were made by using flowers with the labellum of W. villosa removed, and its labellum was replaced with a fake labellum made of white paper.
