SUMMARY
CD8+ T_cells are the most prevalent and powerful effectors in destroying neoplastic cells. Higher density TILs, especially CD8+ T_cells, indicated a clinical response and better prognosis in ICT-treated melanoma, renal cell cancer (RCC), and metastatic colorectal cancer. High densities of CD3+ and CD8+ T_cells predicted a low risk of recurrence in colon cancer patients. The integrated genomic and transcriptomic analyses of ACAP1, and its role in immune_response, are lacking to date.
