- what: The authors provide comparison to the more commonly used velocitybased tracer particles and show that the Monte Carlo approach reproduces the gas distribution much more accurately. By construction, this approach provides the Lagrangian evolution of the gas. The authors report that the tracer mass flux is equal to the gas mass flux . . .
