  • What: The research demonstrates that the 254 nm‐band TJ‐LEDs surpass conventional polar LEDs in several aspects after optimization of both dopant levels as well as structural thicknesses of the new TJ. In this work, two different types of LEDs structures are investigated via simulations: the conventional LED (C‐LED) and tunnel junction‐based LED (TJ‐LED).
