SUMMARY
The sepsis-associated encephalopathy (SAE) occurred in nearly 70% of patients with severe sepsis or septic shock and may lead to acute brain injury. The aim of the presented pilot study was to evaluate the possible role of molecular acoustics in determining brain injury in patients with septic shock.
