- what: The study showed that high concentrations of dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide would form a bilayer or micelle adsorption on the coal surface. The cationic surfactant, octadecyltrimethyl chloride (STAC) (analytical grade, purity ≥ 99%, CAS: 1123 of 13 03-8) was used in this study, and its molecular structure is shown in Figure 1a.
