  • What: This paper proposes a lean fabrication process to achieve this goal and provides detailed experimental results for solar cells with polycrystalline silicon passivated contacts for both polarities. This paper proposes an industrially feasible process flow to integrate local passivated contacts at the TOPCon cell front side without relying on sacrificial layers for masking or other patterning technologies that might not be economically viable in the PV industry.
