• What: Monocular Binocular Passive Passive Structure from Motion SLAM Deep learning Active Deterministic Stereo Matching Deep Learning Trinocular / Multiocular Structured Light Time of Flight Passive Laser Sensing Deterministic Stereo Matching While other categorizations such as Endoscope Flexibility, Application Environment, or Operational Complexity are possible; here, the authors focus mainly on the technologies used for 3D reconstruction. In the following paragraphs, the authors aim to introduce the metrics used in the reviewed literature.
