Advancing hierarchical model: evaluating performance, interpretability and implications

• What: This study has specific aims which are to introduce a unique variable to the standard hierarchical Bayesian model to solve the current limitations and also to enhance on variable selection procedure within the hierarchical model. The hierarchical model aims to explain income and other poverty-related variables in Thailand. Methods for simultaneous selection solve this problem but there are few Bayesian methods for simultaneous selection; the Article aims to do so, using fractional Bayes factors for model selection under automatic reference priors.
