HIGHLIGHTS

  • What: In this study, economic freedom is obtained from the Fraser Institute and measured in five main ways:(1) government size. Through a comprehensive analysis of data spanning from 2010 to 2019, this study has aimed to shed light on the relationship between these variables and real GDP growth rates in a sample of 18 diverse African and developed nations. The findings of this research have provided valuable insights into the factors that shape economic development in the African context.
