    In recent years, a new form of application of agar has been proposed and is rapidly becoming popular among conservators: agar foam generated by insufflating gasses in the sol phase (agar foam). Consequently, the aim of this work is to study the differences in the material properties and cleaning effectiveness amongst three agar systems: agar sol-gel, agar CO2 foam, and agar N2 O foam.
