SUMMARY
ICD involves the exposure and release of damage-associated molecular patterns (DAMPs) from dying tumor cells that are recognized by innate pattern_recognition receptors that activate tumor-specific immune_responses to directly kill cancer cells and antitumor immunity by binding to stimulate long-term efficacy of anticancer drugs. Specifically, increased CD8+ T_cell, plasma cells, activated memory CD4+ T_cell, M1 macrophage, and Tfh cell infiltration were observed in low-risk patients, whereas high-risk patients exhibited enhanced resting memory CD4+ T_cell, M0 macrophage, M2 macrophage, and neutrophils infiltration.
