SUMMARY
Although renal cell carcinoma (RCC) represents around 3% of all cancers, its incidence rises globally with the highest rates in developed countries. This study aims to identify all the preoperative, intraoperative or postoperative risk factors for AKI3 and to assess the role of the already validated risk scores (variants of EuroSCORE and NSQIP) to predict the same endpoint. The presence/absence of preoperative diabetes_mellitus, arterial hypertension and heart failure were identified according to the diagnosis recorded in the preoperative medical evaluation.
