Altitude range and throughput analysis for directional uav-assisted backscatter communications networks

HIGHLIGHTS

  • What: To ensure the quality of BackCom the authors develop a theoretical model that analyzes the valid altitude range of UAVs which is often ignored in previous studies. The authors develop a theoretical model to inves- ૽㢲⛩ᱟ੖ᡀ࣏৽ੁՐ Fig 1. The authors investigate the throughput of directional UAVᖡ૽‫⭥Ⲵ⭥ݵ‬䟿ˈ㔗㘼ᖡ assisted BackCom networks, giving the correlation ૽㢲⛩ᱟ੖ᡀ࣏৽ੁՐ among the throughput, the altitude of UAVs, and the 䗃DŽ. As shown in Fig 1, the authors focus on a directional UAVassisted BackCom network consisting of a hovering UAV and numerous BDs.
