- What: The authors propose first and second order versions of the well-balanced scheme. The authors focus on the equilibrium states at rest that satisfy 𝑢=0, 𝜕𝑥 𝑝=-𝜌𝜕𝑥 𝑧. In fact, the authors aim at preserving a more general class of equilibrium which combine dry shore (𝜌=0) and flat water level (E (𝜌) + 𝑧=𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑛𝑡), which amounts to impose E (𝜌) + 𝑧=max(𝜂, 𝑧) with 𝜂 a constant. The authors aim at establishing a semi-discrete version of this inequality.
