- how: The results showed that fasting indices correlated significantly with clamp IS. The results showed that other surrogate measures seem not to have any advantage over fasting insulin .
- future: Exposure to a proinflammatory environment within the uterus may increase the fetus diabetes risk by influencing the fetal epigenome at this early stage however more studies are needed .
