- What: By analysing the relationship between energy data and GDP in 52 regions, this paper finds that total electricity consumption has the greatest degree of influence on GDP among energy factors, followed by natural gas consumption, biomass consumption, hydroelectricity consumption, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) consumption and geothermal energy consumption.
