There is limited research on the interaction between DNA aptamers and cyt c on the lipid membranes and organic layers. The authors applied single molecule force spectroscopy (SMFS) using DNA aptamers covalently immobilized at the AFM tip to study its interaction with cyt c immobilized at DMPC bilayers modified by calixarenes at the mica surface.
