About 50,000 elderly people aged 60 and above receive influenza vaccines at their own expense each year in Hangzhou, and the influenza vaccine coverage rate for this age group is about 15%. Studies involving the willingness of the elderly to be vaccinated, have shown that multi-component interventions, such as reminders and persuasion to vaccinate at a communitylevel, can help increase the vaccination rate and reduce the incidence of influenza in the elderly.
