• what: The aim of this paper is to investigate the respective role of the macroscopic fields gradient (magnetic and electric fields) and of the injection conditions into the shock front, to account for the final state of individual particles. It is out of the scope of this paper to investigate the particle acceleration within a temporal electric field gradient, so the authors focus only on the oscillating part.
