Projects that have focused on reliability aspects of dispensing have included: an FMEA project based in community pharmacies and a sociotechnical probabilistic risk assessment (ST-PRA) of the community pharmacy dispensing process. Previous work of the authors has included developing a CPN simulation model of community pharmacies,18,19 capable of evaluating both pharmacy reliability and efficiency in the same model.
