  • What: This research was aimed at assessing the antihyperglycaemic effect of plant on alloxan-induced In this study the acute toxicity study was carried out before the commencement of the intervention with the methanolic extract as expressed by Lorke`s method. Findings from this research work reported a statistically significant difference (p and amp;lt;0.05) between the final fasting plasma glucose level of SJMLS Volume 9, Number 3 September, 2024 the groups treated with 250mg/kg and 500mg/kg with that of diabetic control groups.
