SUMMARY

    With the growing popularity of regenerative medicine, research has focused on stem_cell and/or exosome therapy for ICH. Exosomes derived from stem_cells are also sought after, because they possess some of the characteristics and transport capabilities of primary cells. Numerous animal studies have shown that stem_cells can directly or indirectly participate in ICH treatment through regeneration, differentiation, or secretion. This article reviews preclinical and clinical studies of ICH treatment using stem_cells and exosomes and summarizes the possible mechanisms of stem_cell therapy.
