Appraising the factors associated with delirium care behaviours and barriers to their assessment among clinical nurses: a cross-sectional study

HIGHLIGHTS

• What: The aim of this study was to investigate and assess the knowledge behaviours and factors influencing assessments of delirium by hospital nurses so as to predict the factors associated with their current delirium management behaviours. The authors investigated nurses` delirium knowledge and caring behaviours, as well as the barriers that they face when conducting delirium assessments for patients.
