Are the host galaxies of long gamma-ray bursts more compact than star-forming galaxies of the field?

HIGHLIGHTS

SUMMARY

The authors note that the stellar mass range probed by the sample in this redshift range (M* > 1010.5 ) is substantially larger than the one probed at 1 and amp;lt; z and amp;lt; 2 (M* and amp;lt; 1010.5 ), and the GRB host selection at z and amp; 2 is also exclusively drawn from dark GRBs. Could plausibly remain at 2 and amp;lt; z and amp;lt; 3.1, if the authors had also included GRB hosts with lower stellar mass (M* and amp;lt; 1010.5 ) or more massive . . .
