Arima-based forecasting of livestock and poultry: annual volume of animals slaughtered/dressed by animal type and provinces

HIGHLIGHTS

• What: To address this gap, the objective of this study is to utilize time series analysis and forecasting techniques, specifically the autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) model, to examine the annual volume of livestock and poultry slaughtered or dressed by animal type and province in the Philippines. This method improved the analysis by focusing on specific groups, which helped support better decision making in the livestock and poultry industry.
