SUMMARY
Despite the overlapping circumstances among SouthSouth states, some previous studies on knowledge and use of contraceptives in the region and the country at large have failed to examine the relationship between contraceptive knowledge and actual use in South-South Nigeria. As a result, this study looked at the relationship between contraceptive knowledge and actual use among childbearing women in Nigeria`s South-South geopolitical region.
