- what: The main target of this study was to assess the circulating serum hypoxia biomarkers HIF-1u03b1, VEGF, osteopontin, erythropoietin, caveolin-1, GLUT-1, and LDH pre- and postradiotherapy in patients with brain tumors. In the current study, both HIF-1u03b1 and VEGF were significantly decreased after RT when compared to before RT in meningioma patients.
