Association between papillary thyroid cancer and xrcc6 gene polymorphisms in the turkish population

• What: The aim of this study was to investigate whether three different SNPs in the XRCC6 gene promoter region have any contribution to the development of PTC. Contrary to the current study, the UKB and FinnGen databases showed no significant relationship between the rs2267437 polymorphism and PTC (p > 5 × 10-8).
