SUMMARY
Few studies have examined the association between blood concentration of Hg and the hs-CRP level, as a sensitive marker of CVD risk, in the general Korean population. Total Hg in blood was measured using a cold-vapor atomic absorption spectrometric method and a dedicated Hg analyzer (M-6000A; CETAC Technologies, Omaha, NE, United_States).
