Associations between person-environment fit and mental health – results from the population-based life-adult-study

  • What: The aim of this cross-sectional analysis was to investigate the association between person-environment fit and mental health in employees. The study sample that was used for the current analysis consisted of 568 participants. According to the current study, gender was only significantly associated with symptoms of anxiety, when person-organization, demands-abilities, as well as needs-supplies fit were included as predictors, as women showed more symptoms of anxiety compared to men.
