- what: In remote case reports short-lived remission of ISCLS-related symptoms was described in several patients treated for myeloma or plasma cell leukemia with chemotherapy and/or autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT).5-7 However most of these patients died of myelomarelated complications shortly after initiation of therapy and this approach has not been widely embraced.
