- who: Fiona Marshall from the , Data Collection Most hand datasets contain hand gestures used for human-computer interaction [32, ] or sign language recognition [34, ], where sequences are restricted to gestures rather than spontaneous or repetitive movements. Moreover, many of the datasets contain only single hand poses. As there is no suitable open dataset available, a novel video-based dataset of five repetitive hand movements was collected. The study was approved by the relevant Ulster University Faculty Research Ethics Filter Committee.
