In, he joined Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, Tokyo, Japan. In, he joined the Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka Prefecture University. Since, he has been with the Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka Metropolitan University, where he is currently a Professor. His main areas of research interest are permanent magnet synchronous machines, reluctance machines and their control systems. Dr. Morimoto is a member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan . . .
