- What: Another study in Kuwait reported that fear of the procedure was the main reason for a longer delay in undergoing TKS despite clinicians` recommendations . This study aimed to assess patients` awareness and knowledge of total knee arthroplasty benefits and complications. This study also showed that the level of the expected complication significantly increased in elderly people aged more than 60 years, females, as well as obese and overweight members.
